Case study

Teaching AI to non-technical teams

Seminars and one-to-one sessions that helped colleagues from every department use AI with confidence.

Context

AI tools were becoming part of everyday work across the whole company, not just in engineering.

Challenge

Many people felt nervous about AI or quietly overwhelmed by it. They needed simple explanations, not more features.

Approach

  • Ran three seminars for representatives from every department: AI terminology, a brief history of LLMs, and effective LLM usage.
  • Followed up with four one-to-one sessions, working on each person’s real use case.

Outcome

Colleagues from every department got a shared, simple vocabulary for AI. The one-to-one sessions each ended with a solution for a real use case.

What I learned

People don’t need more features. They need permission to experiment, and a safe space to ask questions they think are silly.
